UCLA's Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation's 19th Annual "TASTE FOR A CURE" Honors Steve Mosko, President Of Sony Pictures Television
LOS ANGELES, April 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The 19th Annual Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation's (JCCF) "TASTE FOR A CURE," is set for Friday, April 25, 2014 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Steve Mosko, President of Sony Pictures Television, receives the Gil Nickel Humanitarian Award. Actor Joel McHale will present. "Glee" star Lea Michele and "How I Met Your Mother's" Alyson Hannigan will be part of the program featuring a performance from "Glee's" Darren Criss and entertainment from actor/comedian Tom Papa.
Each year, exceptional wines are paired with regional cuisine prepared by award-winning chefs to create what has been called "among the finest gourmet events of the year!" The evening also features a one-of-a-kind live auction. Joe Cohen, Jon Holman, Larry Maguire, Gary Newman, Jay Sures and Dana Walden are Dinner Co-Chairs.
Fourteen of France's wineries will share their premiere vintages at the gourmet food and wine tasting reception. Included are: Chateau Beaulieu, Chateau de la Clapiere, Chateau Paveil de Luze, Chateau Plince, Chateau Puynormond, Chateau Suduiraut, Domaine de Cristia, Domaine Drouhin Vaudon, Domaine du Vieux Lazaret, Domaine Georges Brunet, Domaine Reverdy-Ducroux, Jean-Claude Boisset, Joseph Drouhin and Lanson. Award-winning Napa Valley wineries Far Niente, Nickel & Nickel, Dolce and EnRoute serve as honorary wine partners.
Beverly Wilshire Hotel's distinguished Executive Chef Gilles Arzur, leads the list of award-winning French chefs bringing their talents to the evening's gastronomic portion.
