IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- University of California, Irvine Extension, announced the appointment of Stephane Muller as the director of business programs. Muller will oversee the development and promotion of new business programs, as well as the continued management and optimization of the Project Management and Marketing portfolios, ensuring that all curriculum complements today's marketplace needs.

Prior to joining UC Irvine Extension, Muller served as the Program Director of the Humanities and Social Sciences Department at UCLA Extension. During his time at UCLA he showcased his intuitive approach to forecasting marketplace trends for program development that directly impacted more than 3,400 students. In addition, Muller has 14 years of teaching French to students of all ages. Also an entrepreneur, Muller founded Optimum Tutors Inc., an in-home tutoring service offering a personalized educational experience catering to students' specific academic and social needs. Muller received his master's degree in Education and Language Learning at Université de Provence, followed by his Doctorate in education at Université du Maine, both located in France.
