UC Irvine Extension Announces New Online Internet Marketing Courses For Spring Quarter

IRVINE, Calif., Feb. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- For the upcoming spring quarter, the University of California, Irvine Extension announces two new courses as part of the ever-growing Internet Marketing Certificate Program: Email Marketing and Agile Marketing. The two online courses will provide students with successful strategies that maximize marketing budgets and generate high financial returns for any company.

"The digital age has revolutionized traditional marketing practices, and it is crucial that professionals are aware of powerful strategies for effectively reaching today's consumer," said Melanie Mitchell, director of management, marketing and business programs at UC Irvine Extension. The Email Marketing course will be offered online from April 8 to May 19. Participants will examine the importance of email marketing, develop relevant digital mailing lists for email campaigns, and learn to implement a useful and engaging campaign that creates high returns on investments.  Dr. R. Kay Green, CEO and President of RKG Marketing Solutions, will instruct the course.

The Agile Marketing course will take place online April 8 to June 2. Participants will learn new strategies in digital marketing that enable professionals to continuously evaluate and improve their marketing activities. Course instructor, Mike Moran, an award-winning author and retired IBM executive, will also discuss how to make the cultural and organizational shift from traditional to agile marketing principles.

UC Irvine's Internet Marketing Certificate Program was established for professionals interested in improving website performance, online marketing campaigns, and web analytics skills as well as those interested in advancing a career in marketing.
