UBM Tech's EDN Announces the Call for Nominations for the Best in Test Awards
Recognizes the Best Test Products and Professionals in the Electronics Industry; Nomination Deadline November 15 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific
SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- EDN, part of UBM Tech's portfolio of communities for the electronics industry, today announced the call for nominations for the 2014 Best in Test Awards competition (http://www.designcon.com/santaclara/expo/best-in-test-awards.php), which recognizes the best in test products and test professionals. The deadline for nominations is November 15, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific.

The Best in Test Awards will feature three categories:
- Best in Test Product Awards
- Test Product of the Year Award
- Test Engineer of the Year Award
The Best in Test product awards honor important and innovative new products and services in the electronics test and measurement industry. Products from all areas of electronics testing and inspection are eligible. The Test Engineer of the Year award pays tribute to the important contributions engineers make to the quality of electronics components, products and systems.
EDN editorial reviews all of the nominations, selects the finalists and then asks the EDN Community to vote online at EDN.com to determine the final winners. The winners will be announced at a special ceremony at DesignCon 2014, taking place January 28-31, 2014 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California.
