UBM Canon's Design News Announces the Rising Engineering Stars

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Feb. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- At an awards ceremony on February 12^th in conjunction with the Pacific Design & Manufacturing and Medical Device and Manufacturing (MD&M), UBM Canon's Design News announced the Rising Engineering Stars award. The competition features the top individuals who are innovating and influencing the design engineering industry.  Design News is the premier technical resource for design engineers throughout the manufacturing sector.  The program has been created in partnership with Mouser Electronics.

The 2013 Rising Engineering Stars award winner was Punya Prakash from Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI).

Her hard work and proven track record as a leader made her a standout as a top rising engineering star. Prakash was chosen from among a myriad of engineering standouts.
