Previously the chief solutions architect at Allstate Insurance Company, Goldberg has worked within the technology industry for the past 20 years. Managing teams of up to 300 people, he has created several critical systems within the industry, including a proprietary wealth management platform for Citibank and a system that allowed Allstate to move its claims operations to an electronic format, eliminating the need for paper and creating ease for their customers.
"As uBid plans to add key new features and functionality to our website, we're thrilled that someone of Andrew's caliber has decided to join our team," said Scott Koerner, president and CEO of uBid. "His proven expertise within the technology industry will make him a tremendous asset to the team. We're moving into a new phase as a company, and it's critical to have fresh talent and ideas to expand our services and provide an even better customer experience."
"With uBid, I saw an opportunity to get into a continually growing company and really help leave my mark and change the way e-commerce sites are built and designed," said Goldberg. "Now is the time to be part of this company because we really have a great management team in place and all of the right ingredients to achieve our very aggressive goals. We want to shift the way consumers are making purchases online to make it very simple, entertaining and exciting far beyond the purchase process."
Outside of the technology industry, Goldberg avidly volunteers his technology services with several non-profit organizations and companies, as well as being actively involved with the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoys spending time with this wife and three children and always stays up-to-date on the latest technology gadgets and gizmos.
