UberConference re-launches iPhone app for stress-free conference calling
SAN FRANCISCO, March 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today UberConference re-launched its conference calling app for iPhone®. For those who rely on their iPhones for day-to-day business, the UberConference app makes it easier than ever to stay organized while on-the-go. Start and schedule conference calls - without PINs - right from the iPhone app with UberConference Pro.
Creating an instant conference call is as simple as choosing contacts from the iPhone address book and clicking "Start." UberConference will then automatically call those contacts to join. To schedule a future call, users can select contacts and then pick either a single, or recurring meeting time.
"The reality is, we're not confined to our desks anymore. Business calls should be effortless when away from the office, but they usually aren't," explains UberConference CEO and co-founder, Craig Walker. "With the app for iPhone, UberConference has redesigned conference calling and gotten rid of the PIN, creating a much easier experience for those who tend to be more mobile."
Just like on the web, any user can see the call as it's happening with the in-app visual dashboard, and know who's joined and who's speaking all the time. The UberConference organizer also has access to powerful call controls. Some of the key features of the UberConference iPhone app include:
- Call recording - download an MP3 version for later
- Social network integration - learn about people on your call
- Call muting - never deal with disruptive background noise again
- Call lock for added security
The UberConference trial mode doesn't require a sign-up, the basic service is always free, and UberConference Pro is only $10/month.
