U-Haul Property to Meet Peachtree City's Moving, Storage Needs

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga., Sept. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- U-Haul Company of Georgia is pleased to meet the growing demand for moving and storage in Fayette County with the opening of its new store at 375 Highway 74 S. in Peachtree City.

U-Haul Moving & Storage of Starrs Mills is now offering truck, trailer and U-Box rentals as well as moving supplies. General manager Claudia Campbell said there is much more to come in the next year.

The 14.12-acre property includes 385 Highway 74 S., where a secondary building of 44,644 square feet will serve as a warehouse for hundreds of U-Box containers among other things. The main building at 375 Highway 74 S. boasts 70,708 square feet, houses the showroom and will soon showcase 1,240 self-storage units. Storage and propane availability, an updated showroom and additional renovations could be ready by the end of summer 2016 if the necessary approvals are granted in a timely fashion.

U-Haul Moving & Storage of Starrs Mills will feature a new 5,000-square-foot showroom and an updated warehouse with hitch bays and docking when completed. The main building, which has 26-foot ceilings, will get a second floor to double the amount of square footage available for storage.
