MADISON, Ala., Aug. 22, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Tyonek Global Services, LLC, a subsidiary of Tyonek Services Group, Inc. (TSG) and Tyonek Native Corporation (TNC), has been awarded a contract by the Air Force Space Command to continue to provide formal cyber operations training, course development, and essential capabilities for the 39th Information Operations Squadron (39 IOS). The 39 IOS is the U.S. Air Force's premier information operations and cyber operations training unit, providing Cyber Weapon Systems Initial Qualification Training (IQT) for Air Force Space Command, Air Forces Cyber and US Cyber Command.

As the Prime Contractor for this $9.8 Million contract award, Tyonek and its subcontractor, Booz Allen Hamilton, will employ 71 employees and will provide instructors, course developers, student mission training systems administrators, network system administrators, and hardware/infrastructure maintenance services.
Tyonek employees, augmenting the current Government staff, will train approximately 1200 students per year at Hurlburt Field, Florida and Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), Texas.
