Ty Lambert Named Chief Data Analytics Officer for BancorpSouth
TUPELO, Miss., Aug. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- BancorpSouth Bank (NYSE: BXS) announced today that Ty Lambert has been tapped as its new chief data analytics officer.
In the new role, he will oversee the company's data analytics operations, providing strategic guidance on data insights and driving data-related business change across the organization.

Since joining BancorpSouth as an accountant in 2006, Lambert has held a variety of management positions, including his most recent role as senior vice president and director of treasury analytics. He will continue to have an active role in balance sheet management, credit risk management, capital stress testing and corporate planning for the bank. Prior to joining BancorpSouth, he was an investment portfolio manager.
Lambert earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Mississippi State University in Starkville and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Mississippi in Oxford.
He currently serves as an adviser to the Center for Financial Professionals and previously served on the American Banker's advisory board for stress testing.
