DENVER, Feb. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Southwest Rink at Skyline Park's second year has been a huge success with more than 40,000 visitors to date! With just two weeks left in the skating season, Southwest Airlines is encouraging Downtown Denver residents and visitors alike to come out to the Rink, lace up their skates, and celebrate Valentine's Day with the LUV airline!
To celebrate Valentine's Day, the Southwest Rink at Skyline Park will feature a LUV-themed photo booth. Skaters are encouraged to take a free photo at the rink to be entered to win one of five pairs of roundtrip tickets to any of Southwest's soon to be 73 destinations, including new service to Atlanta! Here's how it works:
- The Rink photo booth will be open weekends in February (before the Feb. 14 close), visit www.southwestrink.com for photo booth hours
- In addition to receiving two free sets of three photos each, skaters will be entered into a random drawing for one of five pairs of roundtrip tickets
- The pictures also will be featured on the Downtown Denver Partnership's Facebook page for skaters to share with Facebook friends
- Ticket winners will be randomly drawn on Valentine's Day and announced at the Rink and via Facebook, Twitter and www.southwestrink.com
Additionally, five pairs of tickets will be given away to skaters at the Rink on February 14 as part of the closing day activities, which will feature a live DJ and LUV-themed skating.

The Southwest Rink at Skyline Park is located in Skyline Park next to the historic Daniels and Fisher Clocktower near the intersection of 16th Street and Arapahoe and will remain open daily through Feb. 14, 2012. Skating is FREE to the public with the option to bring skates or rent a pair for just $2.
The Southwest Rink at Skyline Park will be open seven days a week through Valentine's Day. Skaters can still enjoy the Friday night DJ, Saturday morning "Learn to Skate" sessions, Saturday night live entertainment, and Sunday family-focused fun.
