The National Retail Foundation estimates the average family will spend $96 on school supplies, which is 10 percent more than last year. "For families on a budget, every little bit helps," says Kim Yost, Art Van CEO. "We thought this was a wonderful opportunity to help children get excited for school."
With most Michigan students returning to school after Labor Day, the rush is on for school supplies. The string back sacks are filled with school supplies and can be picked up in the children's bedding department at any of the 34 Art Van Showrooms throughout the state of Michigan. The offer is for one per household and only good while supplies last.
