TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Marks 28 Months of Record Performance
Thriving Franchise Continues Double Digit Sales Growth in Q3
LANSING, Mich., Nov. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, the leading moving service franchise system, enters the final quarter of 2013 with confidence after achieving 28 consecutive months of double digit growth. The growing brand continues to strengthen its national presence as it marks its 46th consecutive month of overall growth.
The brand wraps up the third quarter of 2013 with encouraging results, achieving sales revenues totaling $240 million year to date and year-over-year growth of 19.6 percent. The company's performance was strongest in July, as it witnessed a 21.5 percent growth rate and monthly sales exceeded $35,000,000. Following its stellar performance in July, the growth numbers of August were similarly remarkable, with the company experiencing a 20.6 percent increase in sales.
"This quarter was the busiest season in the moving industry and we wrapped it up with excellent results. We find ourselves in a very strong and strategic position as we make preparations to continue our growth in 2014," Randy Shacka, president of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® said. "We achieved an overall growth rate of more than 19 percent this quarter, which is promising because it means we are on the right track to fulfill our larger financial and expansion goals."
As the service company continues its development into additional U.S. markets; such as Maryland, Texas, Southern California, and Portland, Ore., as well as increasing its international footprint in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Canada, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is looking to surpass their 2012 system-wide revenue total of $260 million.
Additionally, the company plans on achieving a total of 400 locations within the next five years and expanding its footprint nationwide while pursuing a larger international presence. The headquarters in Lansing will expand the space by 20,000 square feet as the corporate office adds new talented team members to continue to build brand. The expansion will provide the space for a new national sales center to handle overflow of inquiries which will enhance the customer experience through quicker response times. The company also continues to further invest in operations and marketing software to streamline processes and nurture customer relationships. All of these efforts are aimed at improving service quality and system transparency.
With a current customer referral rate of 96 percent, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® looks to finish the year on a high note with a record year of moves completed for over 400,000 customers here and abroad.
"We hope to continue this positive momentum into the last quarter of 2013 and into 2014. We are on the right path with our plans to expand our services to more communities throughout the nation and abroad and we will not rest until we make the Two Men experience accessible to more customers," Brig Sorber, CEO and one of the original two men of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, said.
With 251 U.S. locations and 275 globally, Sorber credits the company's positive development to its investment in technology, employment of talented people and refining existing operational systems throughout their franchise network.
