Two HighTower Managing Directors Named To Barron's 2014 List Of Top 100 Advisors
CHICAGO, April 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- HighTower congratulates two of the firm's partners for repeat appearances on Barron's magazine's "Top 100 Financial Advisors for 2014" list.
Barron's selected Paul Pagnato, Partner and Managing Director of HighTower's Reston, VA-based Pagnato-Karp Group, and Richard Saperstein, Managing Director, Principal and Chief Investment Officer of HighTower's New York, NY-based Treasury Partners, for its 2014 compilation of "Top 100 Financial Advisors." This year's list marks the third consecutive year that the magazine has honored Mr. Pagnato, while Mr. Saperstein has been included every year since 2004. Mr. Pagnato ranked 85th and Mr. Saperstein ranked sixth. Both were also named to Barron's "Top 1200 Financial Advisors by State" list released in February.
Barron's publishes its "Top 100 Financial Advisors" ranking annually to recognize those advisors who demonstrate exceptional performance, client service, professionalism and community involvement. Selection criteria include assets under management, practice quality and generated revenues.
"Paul and Richard embody the HighTower vision of a successful practice leader," said Elliot Weissbluth, Chief Executive Officer of HighTower. "They deliver thoughtful investment advice based on what they perceive to be in the best interest of each individual client. This recognition from Barron's exemplifies why HighTower is the destination of choice for top-tier advisors who share our commitment to transparency and objectivity in financial advice."
Mr. Pagnato joined HighTower in August 2011 after spending more than 19 years with Merrill Lynch, where he founded the firm's Private Banking & Investment office in Washington, DC. His practice specializes in meeting the unique needs of the nation's ultra-affluent individuals and their families and oversees more than $2 billion in client assets.
Mr. Saperstein has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services sector and joined HighTower in April 2009 after J.P. Morgan's acquisition of Bear Stearns, his previous employer, where he and his team established and oversaw the Cash Management Group. His practice delivers a wide variety of conservative cash and wealth management services to corporate and private clients. It oversees $10.2 billion in client assets.
