Twitter Treasure Hunt Awards $15K Worth of Exotic Intrepid Travel Adventures to Chicagoans September 23
From 8am - 1pm, The Hunt Is On To Find Eight Strategically Placed Globes In Chicago
SANTA ROSA, Calif., Sept. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Travel is often described as eye-opening. On September 23, Intrepid Travel (www.intrepidtravel.com) will be giving Chicagoans the chance to win free international trips (Africa! Peru! more!) and vouchers for travel up to $500 just by keeping their eyes open and following @Intrepid_Travel on Twitter.
Eight (8) individual globes, ranging in size and color, will be placed in various high-traffic locations in the downtown Chicago area between 8am and 1pm. Attached to the globes will be a "boarding pass" that explains the prize and instructions on how to redeem it. Some of the globes will give away free Intrepid trips for two in destinations including China, Peru and others. Other globes will offer vouchers for up to $500 off on any Intrepid trip.
Location clues will be live tweeted on September 23 from @Intrepid_Travel starting at 7:30am, and then the race is on to be the first to find the globe! A media alert with a selection of locations and times for photo opportunities will be available on September 20 for media planning purposes and photo opportunities.
