From the red carpet to the Internet, Invisalign Teen will further its support of National Children's Oral Health Foundation: America's Toothfairy®, a national non-profit organization that aims to eliminate pediatric oral disease by supporting community-based, comprehensive non-profit oral healthcare programs for underserved youth.
Booboo and Fivel will be on the red carpet at TEEN CHOICE 2010 with the Invisalign Teen Smile Cam getting first-hand scoop from the TEEN CHOICE nominees. For every smile captured, Align Technology, Inc., the makers of Invisalign Teen, will donate $1,000 to America's Toothfairy. The company is also donating five Invisalign Teen treatments to kids in need of orthodontic care so they can achieve a Choice Smile all their own.
The nominees of Choice Smile sponsored by Invisalign Teen are Cory Monteith, Taylor Lautner, Victoria Justice, Zac Efron and Miranda Cosgrove.
Invisalign's goal, with the help of Booboo and Fivel, is to raise $50,000 in treatment and funding. Everyone at TEEN CHOICE can help to ensure that more underserved and at-risk kids across the country can achieve a beautiful smile to give them the confidence they need to succeed in life. Through its work with America's Toothfairy, Invisalign Teen wants to help kids who would not otherwise have access to the oral health education, preventative and treatment services they need.
"All of us should have a healthy smile that we're proud of, but you know there is a huge number of families in this country who can't afford even the most basic dental care, no matter how urgent it might be," said Booboo Stewart. "Fivel and I are challenging everyone at TEEN CHOICE to use their smiles to help Invisalign Teen raise a lot of money. Let's give teens in need something to really smile about."
"You can follow Booboo and me on the red carpet with exclusive interviews, photos and videos on the Invisalign Teen Facebook page (www.facebook.com/invisalignteen) and by following @Invisalign on Twitter (www.twitter.com/invisalign)," added Fivel Stewart. "Booboo and I will also be tweeting behind-the-scenes scoop and answering questions that you submit, like 'what is Invisalign Teen anyway?' I'll be able to answer that first hand since Invisalign Teen is going to help me get the healthy smile I really want."
Now through Friday, Aug. 6 at noon, Invisalign Facebook fans can submit questions for Booboo and Fivel to answer during their time at TEEN CHOICE 2010. And be sure to check out their hot new single Rainy Day on iTunes.
