Twenty Lobster Rolls Face Off at the Third Annual TastingTable.com Lobster Roll Rumble. Tickets Are on Sale Now!
NEW YORK, March 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Tickets are now available for Tasting Table's 2012 Lobster Roll Rumble! On June 7, 2012, in New York City, 20 rolls representing 10 cities from across the country will face off for the title of "TT Fan Favorite." The third annual event benefits Share Our Strength, the national nonprofit fighting to end childhood hunger.
Eight returning favorites, including two-time champion Luke's Lobster, will battle 12 new contenders. Participating restaurants include: B&G Oysters, BLT Fish Shack, The Clam Shack, Ditch Plains, Freddy's Lobsters + Clams, The Hungry Cat, Island Creek Oyster Bar, The John Dory Oyster Bar, JCT. Kitchen & Bar, Lobster Joint, The Mermaid Inn, Littleneck, Lure Fishbar, Mary's Fish Camp, Red Hook Lobster Pound, Sam's Chowder House, Smack Shack, Thames Street Oyster Bar and Waterbar Restaurant.
Guests will taste--and vote--their way through the summer's best rolls while imbibing Stella Artois beers, custom cocktails from Tequila Don Julio, and San Pellegrino sparkling water. Celebrity Cruises will bring high-seas style to the evening, and a Haagen-Dazs ice cream bar will end the night on a sweet note.
