Twelve Lanier Law Firm Attorneys Honored on List of 2018 New York Super Lawyers and Rising Stars
NEW YORK, Sept. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Three lawyers from The Lanier Law Firm have earned selection to the 2018 New York Super Lawyers list, while nine young attorneys in the firm's New York office have been named to the publication's list of Rising Stars. Each honoree is recognized based on their work representing plaintiffs in product liability claims or class-action litigation.
Evan Janush, managing attorney of the firm's New York office, is recognized by Super Lawyers for his expertise in class-action litigation. Firm attorneys Catherine Heacox and David Kuttles are named to the New York Super Lawyers list for their representation of plaintiffs in product liability litigation. Mr. Janush and Ms. Heacox have earned honors from Super Lawyers annually since 2013, while Mr. Kuttles has been recognized since 2016.
The New York Rising Stars list includes seven Lanier Law Firm lawyers recognized in the practice area of personal injury – products: Darron Berquist, Joseph Cotilletta, Christina Delise, Christopher Hersom; Rachel Lanier; Zarah Levin-Fragasso, and Melissa Nafash.
Jason Goldstein and Ian Millican are recognized in the category of class actions and mass torts.
Global information and news service Thomson Reuters selects Super Lawyers honorees using a patented review process for its annual guide to top lawyers. Attorneys must be nominated by their peers. A research team then reviews their professional achievements and other details, with a blue-ribbon panel making the final selection. No more than 5 percent of attorneys in a state are recognized.
The Rising Stars list is compiled using the same criteria and is designed to recognize outstanding lawyers under age 40 or those who have been in practice less than 10 years.
The complete list of New York lawyers selected for 2018 is published in the New York Metro edition of Super Lawyers magazine and in The New York Times in October.
