tw telecom's Harold Teets Announced as 2011 'Celebrity' at C-Level @ A Mile High

DENVER, Feb. 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- tw telecom, (Nasdaq: TWTC) a leading provider of managed voice, Internet and data networking solutions for businesses in Denver and throughout the U.S., today announced that Harold Teets, Senior Vice President of Information and Network Technology, will be one of more than 50 "Celebrity" C-Levels participating on March 10, 2011 at the CSIA C-Level @ A Mile High event.  C-Level @ A Mile High is Colorado's biggest technology networking event and is designed to help increase the relationships and business done between Colorado technology companies.

Since the program's inception in 2007, the CSIA C-Level @ A Mile High has stimulated hundreds of relationships and resulted in millions of dollars of work between Colorado companies.

Harold Teets was appointed Senior Vice President – Information and Network Technologies for tw telecom in 2006.  A 35-year veteran in technology and network communications fields, Teets oversees the company's Information Technology, Network Technology, Technology Management, Technology Operations, Carrier Relations and Access Management groups.  Prior to joining the company, Teets was Chief Information and Chief Technology Officer at Xspedius Communications.  He has held executive level technology leadership roles with several industry leading companies including AT&T Canada, MCI, Brooks Fiber, Conversant Communications, Looking Glass Networks and MFS.  In 2010, Teets was appointed by the Federal Communications Commission to its prestigious Technological Advisory Council.
