KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Aug. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Tennessee Valley Authority has announced it will redeem all of its 2011 4.375 percent electronotes due June 15, 2041. These securities are identified by the CUSIP number 88059TFF3. Approximately $25 million of the notes are currently outstanding.
In addition, TVA will redeem all of its 2011 4.30 percent electronotes due July 15, 2041. These securities are identified by the CUSIP number 88059TFG1. Approximately $17 million of the notes are currently outstanding.
The notes will be redeemed at 100 percent of par value on Sept. 15, 2016. The redemption price and any accrued interest will be paid to eligible holders through The Depository Trust Company.
The Tennessee Valley Authority is a corporate agency of the United States that provides electricity for business customers and local power distributors serving more than 9 million people in parts of seven southeastern states.
