"After my trip to Argentina, I couldn't wait to get in the kitchen to experiment," said Richman. "I tossed traditional food and wine pairing 'rules' out the window and simply created dishes that I would enjoy eating with friends. I think you'll find that the recipes I came up with prove that you really can dare to pair Alamos wines with just about any type of food, whether it comes from my kitchen in Brooklyn or the streets of Argentina."
Richman's Daring Pairings are:
- Malbec Burger with Creole Mustard Tomato Jam (Pairs with Alamos Malbec)
- Classic Ribeye with Chimichurri and Roasted Vegetables (Pairs with Alamos Malbec)
- Sloppy 'Zo! (Pairs with Alamos Cabernet Sauvignon)
- Chimichurri Skirt Steak Taco with Provoleta and Grape Salsa (Pairs with Alamos Red Blend)
- Sweet and Spicy Seafood Pasta (Pairs with Alamos Torrontes)
The high elevation growing conditions in the foothills of Argentina's Andes Mountains are the foundation for the grapes that result in America's most preferred Malbec1. Combining bold layers of flavors and excellent natural acidity, Alamos Malbec has rich, layered aromas and flavors which enhance any meal.
In addition to Malbec, the Alamos portfolio of high-quality Argentine wines also includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Blend, Seleccion Malbec, Chardonnay, and the bright, fruity white wine Torrontes.
