OAKLAND, Calif., April 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Turnitin, the leader in originality checking and online grading, today announced it will host the second annual Plagiarism Education Week from April 21-25, a virtual conference that explores the issue of plagiarism in the classroom from the perspective of educators and students. With a theme of "From Copying to Critical Thinking," the week will feature two daily webcasts devoted to sharing ideas and best practices to teach educators and students how to develop critical thinking skills.

Turnitin has partnered with leading academic and media organizations as sponsors for the event, including the National Institute for Technology in Liberal Education (NITLE), The School for Ethical Education (SEE), the International Center for Academic Integrity (ICAI) and Plagiarism Today.
