Turnitin Adopted by Ontario Public Schools
Hundreds of Thousands of Ontario High School Students to Benefit from Integrated Set of Tools for Plagiarism Prevention, Digital Mark-up and Online Peer Reviewing
OAKLAND, Calif., June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- iParadigms, creators of Turnitin® and iThenticate® and the global leader in originality checking and plagiarism prevention, today announced that its Turnitin solution for managing written assignments has been licensed by the Ministry of Education of Ontario, Canada through the Ontario Software Acquisition Program Advisory Committee (OSAPAC) process, for use in all of its publicly-funded and First Nations secondary schools. Hundreds of thousands of students and tens of thousands of teachers throughout the province will have access to Turnitin's web-based tools, including OriginalityCheck™ Plagiarism Prevention, PeerMark® Peer Reviewing and GradeMark® Digital Markup and Grading.
