The QT Device provides the same, reliable radio frequency (RF) technology and features as other Turning Technologies RF keypads, but with a full, ergonomic QWERTY keyboard for easy text input. Detailed feedback can be gathered from open-ended questions for collection of critical data. Large LCD screen and backlight provide clear viewing of responses, channel number and battery life. Glow in the dark keyboard supports low light environments. The QT is compatible with numerous question types including multiple choice, multiple response, numeric response, true/false and short answer. Presentation and test mode for self-paced testing are available.
New release of ResponseWare 2.0 offers significant enhancements to the mobile response application. ResponseWare 2.0 turns any web-enabled device into a virtual clicker. Participants can respond via the internet through any web browser or through applications available for Android™ and Apple® smartphones and tablets. Newly designed apps offer an enhanced user experience. For more effective communication, ResponseWare 2.0 allows for direct messaging (backchanneling) between participant and presenter. Decreased bandwidth improves response transmissions for a more reliable connection. When used with accompanying TurningPoint Cloud polling software, ResponseWare 2.0 supports pictures and HTML in questions and answers. Various licensing options are available.
"The launch of these new response tools is directly related to our agile approach to development that allows us to address emerging customer needs," said Turning Technologies' CEO Mike Broderick. "Rich, QWERTY text input afforded with the QT Device and updates to our leading mobile response solution ResponseWare for an enhanced user experience were design decisions grounded in market and customer feedback. As the industry leader, we remain committed to innovation, product reliability and relevant solutions that fit our strategic vision."
The QT Device and ResponseWare 2.0 will be released in summer 2014.
