Turner Construction Company Recruits Engineering Excellence in Lori Ann Stevens

SAN DIEGO, April 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Turner Construction Company is pleased to announce that Lori Ann Stevens, LEED® AP recently joined the San Diego business unit as a Senior Project Manager.  In her new role, Ms. Stevens will be responsible for managing projects within Turner's Special Projects Division, as well as assisting with Business Development.  In her 12-year career in the industry, Ms. Stevens has distinguished herself as an industry leader and has shared her expertise with future generations by teaching Masters Courses at San Diego State University.  Ms. Stevens' experience and knowledge will be an asset while taking a leadership role on several Turner projects.

Ms. Stevens received her bachelor's degree in Construction Management from Arizona State University, and her master's degree in Civil Engineering from San Diego State University.  Prior to joining Turner Construction Company, Ms. Stevens served as the Assistant Vice President of Lowe Enterprises.  In this capacity, she was responsible for the design and construction activities of the San Diego County Operations Center.  The intricate, six-year project required careful management and an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the construction industry.  Ms. Stevens has also served as a Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Field Engineer with other San Diego construction firms.
