Turner Completes 14 K-12 School Projects in Dallas/Ft. Worth Metro Area in Time for Start of the 2010 Fall Semester
$43 Million School Projects Ready for Students and Teachers
NEW YORK, Sept. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Turner Construction Company, the nation's largest builder of education facilities, has completed fourteen K-12 school projects in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metro area totaling $43 million in time for the start of the 2010 school year.
These school projects are part of Turner's $2.3 billion of education and science construction projects that are currently being managed by the company.
Turner has completed $15 million of renovations at five schools for the Dallas Independent School District that include the Oliver Wendell Holmes Humanities/Communications Academy, the John Neely Bryan Elementary School, the W.W. Bushman Elementary School, the N.H. Harllee Elementary School and the William B. Miller Elementary School.
For the Fort Worth Independent School District, Turner has completed the $14 million Forest Middle School and $13.9 million of renovations to eight additional schools for the district that include South Hills High School, Westcreek Elementary, J.T. Stevens Elementary, Bruce Shulkey Elementary, Westcliff Elementary School, McClean Middle School, Monnig Middle School and ML Phillips Elementary School.
