Turnaround Management Association's Midwest Chapters to Host Conference Mayor Richard M. Daley and GE Capital Managing Director to Keynote
CHICAGO, Aug. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Midwest chapters of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) are co-hosting the MidAmerica Regional Conference, "Creating Opportunities in a Slow Growth Period" on September 13 – 14, 2012. Former Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley and David B. Rusate, managing director of Foreign Exchange and Commodity Risk Management at GE Capital and treasurer of GE Energy, will be the keynote speakers.
The program will offer timely educational content from industry experts and frontline practitioners. Sessions include a panel of workout lenders who will share their experiences and offer advice about new business development; financial executives speaking about capital markets; legal industry experts discussing the impact of recent case law and more. There also will be numerous opportunities for attendees to network and make valuable professional connections.
Rusate will be Thursday's dinner keynote speaker, providing his views on economic conditions and regulatory pressures on financial institutions. Mayor Daley will kick-off Friday's program during a breakfast keynote during which he will provide his insight about the financial difficulties facing municipalities in the current economic environment.
