Turnaround Management Association Names Ronald R. Sussman President, Elects 2012 Officers
CHICAGO, Nov. 4, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Turnaround Management Association (TMA) has elected Ronald R. Sussman, a partner in the bankruptcy and restructuring practice at Cooley LLP in New York, as its 2012 president. Sussman and other 2012 officers were approved by TMA's governing body during the 2011 TMA Annual Convention on October 24.
Sussman, who begins his one-year term January 1, joined TMA's New York City Chapter in 1998 and soon thereafter served on high-level committees that steer TMA's direction, including strategic planning, Cornerstone 15 campaign, certification oversight and board of directors. In 2010, he served as vice president of communications and in 2011, corporate secretary.

Sussman has represented debtors, creditors, employee and other official committees in noteworthy bankruptcy cases, including Enron, United Airlines, Blockbuster, Mervyn's, Pacific Metro/Kinkade Gallery, Gottschalks, EPV Solar, The Sharper Image, CompUSA and Loehmann's.
Joining Sussman at the TMA leadership helm is current TMA President Mark S. Indelicato, managing partner at Hahn & Hessen LLP in New York, who will become TMA chairperson in 2012. A member since 1995, Indelicato served as past president, general counsel and director of the TMA New York City Chapter, one of TMA's largest chapters. Before being elected president, Indelicato held several prominent TMA posts, including chair of the Chapter Presidents' Council, vice president of both chapter relations and education and Executive Committee member.
