Turnaround Management Association Names Gregory J. Fine, CAE, Executive Director
CHICAGO, Oct. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Turnaround Management Association (TMA) has named Gregory J. Fine, CAE, executive director, effective December 5, 2011.
Fine joins TMA with more than 15 years of experience leading and growing associations. He currently serves as vice president of marketing and communications for the Association for Corporate Growth® (ACG) where he led the creation of a strategic marketing and communications department, directed the launch of ACG's public policy effort, and played a key role in enhancing the relationship between the organization and its 56 worldwide chapters.

Prior to his role with ACG, Fine served as the director of communications & marketing and executive editor of FORUM magazine for the Association Forum of Chicagoland. His association experience includes positions in government affairs, membership, marketing, communications and senior management.
A recognized leader in the association community, Fine currently serves on the board, as president, of Association Media and Publishing and is an active member of the Association Forum of Chicagoland and the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), where he is past chair of the Membership Section Council and is a current member of the ASAE Research Committee.
Fine is a contributing author to Membership Essentials, has written for FORUM, Associations Now and Signature and is a highly rated and sought after international speaker on the topics of strategy, management development, digital publishing, generational marketing, public policy/advocacy, association trends, social media, word of mouth marketing (WOM), membership, marketing and volunteerism. He was named the Angerosa Research Foundation's 2008 Publishing Trendsetter, an award recognizing innovation that advances association publishing. In October 2009, he was selected as a "Young and Aspiring Association Professional" by Association TRENDS.
Fine replaces Linda Delgadillo, CAE, who is retiring at the end of 2011 following 11 years as TMA executive director.
