Turkish Designers Will Conquer the Global Fashion Stage: New York Fashion Week FW19

NEW YORK, Feb. 12, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Turkish textile is globally known for its quality and in recent years, Turkish fashion design is blooming all around the world. Turkish fashion designer labels are being sold in prestigious fashion department stores from Saks Fifth Avenue to Bloomingdale's. Turkish textile and design will be promoted throughout the year as a project supplied by Turkey Promotion Group (TPG).

In the project's first part, New York Fashion Week will host four young Turkish Designers: Buket Ozkalfalar, Barut Gokhan Ildeniz, Ece Kavran, and Firat Neziroglu. Turkish designers will showcase their collections with a mixed brand catwalk in Industria at 5 pm on February 12th, Tuesday. Famous Turkish top models will walk the runway. Successful designers are coached by Hakan Akkaya, the famous Turkish fashion designer who participated three times in a row at NYFW.
