ISTANBUL, April 8, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Turkcell (NYSE:TKC, ISE:TCELL), the leading communications and technology company in Turkey, announced a first ever comprehensive multiple mobile client installation service , that will be available through telephone back-up devices offered at Turkcell Communication Centers, also known as TIMs. Telephone back up devices are also being used to transfer data between mobile phones and also to backup/restore subscriber phonebook to/from Turkcell.
With this exceptionally user-friendly new feature, multitude of Turkcell mobile applications that are compatible with the mobile telephone will be installed in one fell swoop. Consequently, calendars, pictures, videos, SMS messages and more will be transferred to the new phone instantly only with a single action.
The kinds of applications that can be uploaded include Turkcell Pratik, Turkcell Travel, Turkcell Compass, Turkcell Video Seeker, Turkcell Super League, Turkcell Mobile TV , IBB Cep Trafik (Mobile Traffic Application) and Turkcell Phonebackup application.
