Tulix Systems appoints Mike Womack as VP of Sales & Marketing

ATLANTA, July 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Tulix Systems is announcing the appointment of Mike Womack as Vice President of Sales & Marketing.  Womack takes this new role on after more than a decade of leadership positions in the streaming media business.  Womack will spearhead Tulix's global efforts to bring the company's digital distribution and monetization solutions to even more video operators, aggregators, broadcasters, corporations and live and VOD streaming entities.  This appointment is a key addition as Tulix continues its trajectory to becoming one of the world's leading video platform companies and will help fuel the next stage of growth.

Womack joins Tulix after a long and successful stint at industry trail blazer Real Networks.  During his time at Real Networks Mike had global responsibility for the Helix product line.  Prior to his time at Real Networks Womack worked for and consulted with Sprint in numerous roles as well as being a Sun Certified Technical Instructor for Sun Microsystems.  Womack also served honorably in the United States Marine Corps for over a decade.  Having more than two decades in management and key leadership roles Mr. Womack will certainly be able effectively manage the Tulix sales team and drive Tulix business to new heights.
