Tuffnell Ltd. Acquires Advanced Gold Project in Arizona
LONDON, April 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Tuffnell Ltd. (Tuffnell or "the Company") (OTC Bulletin Board: TUFF) is pleased to announce the acquisition of an advanced gold project in the Plomosa Mining District of Arizona.
The Company entered into an Option Agreement with MinQuest Inc. ("MinQuest"), whereby MinQuest granted the Company the sole and exclusive right and option to acquire an undivided 100% right, title and interest in and to the Little Butte project subject only to a royalty, being located in LaPaz County, Arizona.
The Little Butte project consists of 47 unpatented mining claims and 5 patented claims. Previous work in the area is extensive, consisting of approximately 96 drill holes which confirmed the existence of significant gold and copper mineralization over substantial widths.
Quartz-hematite-sulfide (oxidized) stockworks and sheeted vein structures are found throughout the area. The geology of the district is similar to a number of world class copper-gold porphyries throughout the world, including Grasberg, Indonesia.
The Company is currently reviewing technical data in order to establish the first phase of its exploration program, in order to test the mineralized system.
