TTI Floor Care North America Stops Cookeville Store Closure

GLENWILLOW, Ohio, Dec. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- TTI Floor Care North America, the makers of America's iconic vacuuming brands Hoover®, Dirt Devil® and Oreck®, announced today that they have prevented the closure of the Oreck Outlet store in Cookeville, TN. The Cookeville store, a vital part of the local business community, was not part of the recent Tom Oreck store acquisition and found itself in danger of losing its lease.

"Oreck is at the heart of the Cookeville community and Oreck retail stores are at the heart of the brand. It's right to keep this store open," said Cookeville's Oreck plant manager Kathy Riedel. "I'm very happy. It broadens our scope in the community."

The employees of the Cookeville Oreck Outlet store were added to the payroll of TTI Floor Care North America at 12:01 am, Dec. 7.
