Tsuyoshi ("Yoshi") Ozaki Joins American Century Investments
KANSAS CITY, Mo., Aug. 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Tsuyoshi ("Yoshi") Ozaki, Ph.D. joined American Century Investments July 31 as a portfolio manager within its Disciplined Equity group. He co-manages the U.S. Disciplined Large Cap Growth (Disciplined Growth/NT Disciplined Growth), U.S. Disciplined Large Cap Long/Short (AC Alternatives Disciplined Long Short), and U.S. Utilities (Utilities) strategies, reporting to Vice President and Portfolio Manager Yulin Long, Ph.D., CFA.

Ozaki, who has worked in the investment industry for more than 18 years, joined American Century from Axioma Inc., where he served as director and senior member of the Global Equity Analytics team, supporting the quantitative and portfolio analytic requirements of large, sophisticated quantitative asset managers and hedge funds. Previously, he served as executive director of MSCI Inc., was a senior quantitative researcher with Quantal International Inc., and served as a portfolio manager on the Japan Equity Market Neutral strategy for Algert Coldiron Investors LLC prior to that. He also held roles at MSCI Inc. and Moody's KMV.
Ozaki holds a bachelor's degree in biophysics from Columbia University and a Ph.D. in neuroscience from Rockefeller University.
