As threats to A&D cybersecurity increase, government agencies, A&D companies and suppliers are scrambling to lock down IP and protect against what U.S. Intelligence Director Dennis Blair calls "imminent terrorist attack." In this climate, TSCP's mission to define specifications for solutions and processes that allow companies and customers to conduct global business electronically is paramount.
"Alison is the clear choice for leading our efforts," said Keith Ward, TSCP chairman. "Her first-hand experience and proven expertise in the field of federated identity management and secure information sharing are a welcome asset to TSCP."
Dunstan has been actively involved in the issues facing TSCP members – including Northrop Grumman, Boeing, EADS, Microsoft, and CA to name a few – since 2000. As the Assistant Director responsible for the Defence PKI, she tackled pressing security issues related to identity federation and worked with the Combined Communications Electronics Board (CCEB), a five-nation collaborative effort dedicated to formulating combined military communications-electronics policy. She's been a force in TSCP since 2004, most recently spearheading the development of TSCP's Rapid Delivery Model, which will enable greater collaboration with TSCP gold and silver vendors while building upon their expertise.
"The need for collaboration and information sharing standards has never been greater," said Dunstan. "I'm excited to build on what TSCP has achieved so far, and deliver value to others grappling with today's industry challenges."
