Trustmark National Bank and FHLB Dallas to Present $6K Partnership Grant to Housing Education and Economic Development

JACKSON, Miss., Sept. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Please join representatives from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) and Trustmark National Bank as they present a $6,000 Partnership Grant Program (PGP) award to the Jackson-based nonprofit, Housing Education and Economic Development (HEED). PGP awards provide funding for the operational needs of community-based organizations involved in affordable housing and economic development. FHLB Dallas awarded $225,000 in PGP grants this year.
Founded in 1989 to encourage public awareness of fair housing and lending issues, HEED has worked with more than 10,000 clients. The nonprofit plans to use the funds to enhance its counseling programs.
