Alec Casey returns to iconic media company from Bloomberg
NEW YORK, Nov. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Trusted Media Brands, Inc. (formerly known as Reader's Digest Association), an iconic, multiplatform media company, today announced that Alec Casey has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer, reporting directly to President and CEO, Bonnie Kintzer. Casey previously worked for the company, serving on the U.S. Consumer Marketing team from 1995 to 2000.

With more than two decades of publishing experience, Casey joins from Bloomberg, where he served as Head of Global Circulation and Production. At Bloomberg, he was responsible for global consumer marketing and production for all titles, including Businessweek, which he helped re-launch in 2010, and was also responsible for launching the company's online learning platform. Previously, Casey held various leadership positions at Hearst and Time Inc., where he oversaw consumer marketing for several home, food and lifestyle magazines.
As Chief Marketing Officer, Casey will head Consumer Marketing Planning and Production, focusing on the continued expansion of the Trusted Media Brands digital footprint, whose brands reach more than 53 million UVMs and 40 million social media fans. Earlier this year, Trusted Media Brands launched EnrichU, a robust e-learning portal that features a suite of online courses in Food and Cooking, Home Improvement, and Health and Wellness. In the past year, Trusted Media Brands, Inc. has signed on more than 350 new advertising partners and landed programs with Toyota, Nestle and other Fortune 100 advertisers.
Casey earned an MBA from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Dartmouth College. He resides in Connecticut with his family.
