Trusted Health Plan Chooses DST Health Solutions BPO To Support Increased Demand From Growth Initiatives
BIRMINGHAM, Ala., June 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- DST Health Solutions, LLC (DSTHS), a leading provider of technology solutions and services to greater than 250 health plans, integrated delivery systems, and health care providers representing greater than 20 million members, today announced the execution of a contract to provide administration operations, care management, and business analytics to Thrive Health Plans, Inc., a Washington D.C.-based managed care organization (MCO) which operates under the name Trusted Health Plan.
Trusted Health Plan was recently awarded a five-year Medicaid contract for Washington D.C., and will begin enrolling members in July 2013. Given the short time between signing the contract and launching operations, DSTHS BPO services will be vital in assisting Trusted Health Plan to successfully meet its expansion goals.
In order to assist Trusted Health Plan in immediately providing high quality service to its members, DSTHS will implement its core claims administration platform, as well as customer support, grievance and appeals support, provider web portal access, and workflow management, all of which are designed to position Trusted Health Plan for success as it quickly builds this aspect of the organization.
In addition, DSTHS will be providing CareAnalyzer® and CareConnect™ to support Trusted Health Plans care management, risk adjustment, and population health activities. Together, these products will allow Trusted Health Plan to focus on providing quality care to its members and gain valuable insight into vital processes and procedures that are necessary for continued growth.
"We are delighted to work with DST Health Solutions," said Trusted Health Plan Founder Thomas Duncan. "DSTHS is a thought leader in this space, and we look forward to a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship as our company grows in Washington D.C. and explores opportunities in other markets."
"DSTHS understands that health plans are facing not only a need for administrative support, but also must manage ever-evolving regulatory issues without losing the focus necessary to sustain growth," said Steve Sabino, President, DST Health Solutions. "Outsourcing core administrative processes, while simultaneously integrating population management technology, positions Trusted Health Plan to focus on initiatives that will differentiate it from other plans."
