Trupanion Hits Significant Milestone, Surpassing 250,000 Total Enrolled Pets
SEATTLE, May 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Trupanion, Inc. (NYSE:TRUP), a direct-to-consumer, monthly subscription business that provides medical plans for cats and dogs, today announced that it has surpassed 250,000 total enrolled pets. Since enrolling its first member in 2000, Trupanion has experienced rapid growth in revenues and total enrolled pets, increasing at compounded annual growth rates of 57% and 42%, respectively, over the past 4 years.
Growth in total enrolled pets continues to be largely driven by Trupanion's direct-to-consumer monthly subscription business, which comprised approximately 90% of Trupanion's total enrolled pets as of March 31, 2015.
