TrueChild Hosts Celebrity Cook-Off in Chicago

CHICAGO, March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- TrueChild, a national organization that helps children break through stereotypes so they can be true to themselves and reach their full potential, will host the annual TrueFlavors Celebrity Cook-Off at The Chopping Block Merchandise Mart on Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 6:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. CST.

Ron Huberman, Chief Executive Officer of the Chicago Public Schools will join Top Chef Season Three finalist and fan favorite, Casey Thompson, and Food Network personality, Sunny Anderson. Chicago-based duo, Amy Armstrong and Freddy will emcee. Teams will have 35 minutes to prepare a three course meal with secret ingredients revealed only moments before the contest. In addition to the celebrity cooking competition, the event will include raffles, a live auction, and VIP reception.
