True the Vote Announces 'Need ID?' Initiative for Texas Voters

Program to offer voter registration and voter ID assistance

HOUSTON, Oct. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- True the Vote (TTV), the nation's leading voters' rights and election integrity organization, today announced its latest voter education and election preparedness program, 'NEED ID?'

True the Vote's new initiative will work in concert with Texas' recently announced mobile voter ID program and offer stand-alone support for residents wishing to register to vote or inquire about identification requirements.

• Updates on Texas' mobile voter ID service
• Voter registration resources
• Volunteer opportunities

In addition, True the Vote will begin its own mobile outreach program with deputy voter registrars and ID consultants in rural and emergent communities beginning October 2, 2013.
