Vortex features a three-stage snow removal process that is designed to clear deep snowfall quickly and break through driveway snow barriers with less effort. During the removal process, the first-stage augers gather snow, ice or slush into the second-stage accelerator, which then cuts and chops the contents and speeds it into the third-stage impeller for efficient removal. The accelerator's power also minimizes snow clogging in the chute.
