Trovita Health Science Partially Closes Series A Round, Raises $1.5 Million to Launch ENU, a New Ready-to-Drink Complete Nutritional Beverage

MINNEAPOLIS, April 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Trovita Health Science, a Minnesota-based specialty health and nutrition company, announces the partial closing of a private placement Series A capital raise.  The company has raised $1.5 million of the $1.9 million in financing offered for the round. Trovita is utilizing the proceeds from this financing to manufacture and commercialize an innovative ready-to-drink nutritional shake, sold under the brand name ENU™.

ENU is a naturally enhanced, complete nutritional shake that is remarkably flavorful, with more protein and less sugar than established brands. ENU is made with non-GMO and organic ingredients, and has no added sugar, corn syrup or artificial sweeteners.  A team of doctors and dietitians developed the product because of their dissatisfaction with current options for supporting the nutritional needs of cancer patients.
