Triunfo Reports Net Revenue Increase of 19.6% and EBITDA of R$73.4 Million in 3Q11

SAO PAULO, Nov. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Triunfo Participacoes e Investimentos S.A. (BM&FBovespa: TPIS3; OTC: TPIUY.PK), a company that operates in the highway, port and power generation segments in Brazil, announces its results for the third quarter of 2011.

3Q11 HIGHLIGHTS

• Toll roads traffic volume increased 7.2% in 3Q11 over 3Q10, reaching approximately 18.8 million equivalent vehicles.
• Volume of containers handled in 3Q11 decreased 10.2% from 3Q10. However, revenue from Portonave grew 30.8% to R$41.1 million.
• Electricity output in 3Q11 generated revenue of R$26.1 million.
• Net Revenue increased by 19.6% in 3Q11, over the same period last year, reaching R$196.3 million.
• Adjusted EBITDA totaled R$73.4 million in 3Q11.
• The dividend calculation base reached R$2.5 million, and Triunfo posted a Net Loss of R$(14.8) million.
• On August 22, Rio Verde Energia increased its assured energy by 4MW.
• On October 06, Maestra acquired a fourth ship, which will allow better customer service, with weekly stopovers at the terminals where it operates.
• Maestra issued non-convertible debentures amounting to R$80 million to finance its strategy of operating four vessels.
• On October 03, Triunfo purchased all the shares of Santa Rita and now holds 100% interest, with the purpose of implementing a port project.
• On October 28, Triunfo signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Japanese shipping company Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha ("NYK") outlining the key terms and conditions for establishing a joint venture in Maestra.
• On November 05, Maestra Pacifico vessel, belonging to Maestra, began operations in November 2011.
