SAO PAULO, Sept. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Triunfo Participacoes e Investimentos S.A. (BM&FBovespa: TPIS3; OTC: TPIUY), a leading Brazilian infrastructure company, hereby announces its preliminary operational data for the first eight months of 2011.

8M11 HIGHLIGHTS

  • In the first eight months of 2011, traffic volume increased by 8.7% over the same period last year, reaching 50,292,000 equivalent vehicles. Our individual concessions, Concer, Concepa and Econorte, registered year-on-year equivalent vehicle growth of 10.7%, 8.9% and 4.7%, respectively.
  • In the same period, handled container volume at the port of Navegantes fell by 2.9% year-on-year to 363,462 TEUs.
  • Energy generation totaled 43,795 MWh in August and 503,783 MWh year-to-date.
