SAO PAULO, May 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Triunfo Participacoes e Investimentos S.A. (BM&FBovespa: TPIS3), (OTC: TPIUY), a leading Brazilian infrastructure company, hereby announces its preliminary operational data for the first four months of 2011.

4M11 HIGHLIGHTS

  • In the first four months of 2011, traffic volume increased by 9.15% over the same period last year, reaching 25,837,000 equivalent vehicles. Our individual concessions, Concer, Concepa and Econorte, registered year-on-year equivalent vehicle growth of 10.98%, 8.85% and 6.31%, respectively.
  • In the same period, handled container volume at the port of Navegantes fell by 8.0% year-on-year to 164,712 TEUs.
  • Energy generation totaled 65,398 MWh in April and 290,859 MWh year-to-date.
