NEW YORK, Jan. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Triumph Learning, a market leader in standards-based education material, today announced that it has added two senior media industry executives to its management team. Robert Methven has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Technology and Eduardo Moura has been named Chief Product Officer.
Methven and Moura will both be based out of the company's Jacksonville, Florida office with Methven leading the company's digital technology strategy, managing and deploying technology resources, and identifying new opportunities to enhance the company's full suite of digital product offerings. Moura will assume responsibilities for initiating and implementing product development in all media platforms with over 130 media specialists - editors, writers, and content and curriculum developers - reporting to him.
Methven and Moura each bring a history of leadership to their positions.
Prior to joining Triumph Learning, Methven held several technology leadership positions and was at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing Company for six years, where he spearheaded the development and deployment of the company's eLearning platform. At Triumph Learning, Methven and Moura will join President and CEO Myron Pincomb, along with Ken Butkus Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, in leading the company toward a future of sophisticated media platforms, technological advancements and results-based efficiencies.
"We're thrilled to have Robert and Ed on our team," said Myron Pincomb. "Robert has vast experience in the K-12 space and understands the tremendous benefits technology can bring to our students and teachers. Ed's passion for groundbreaking solutions and his vision for product development will help us further expand our print and digital curriculum offerings.
