TripAdvisor Names First Travelers' Choice awards for Rentals winners--and celebrates with a bucket-list trip giveaway

NEEDHAM, Mass., June 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- TripAdvisor®, the travel planning and booking site, announced the winners of its first ever Travelers' Choice awards for Rentals today. The inaugural awards recognize 30 of the top rental homes in the world, ranging from a chic Parisian apartment and a serene Balinese villa, to an unforgettable houseboat in Amsterdam, a cozy studio nestled in Yosemite National Park, and a luxury home set amidst an island vineyard.

With features like private pools, lakefront views, and mountain access, these award-winning properties highlight everything travelers love about TripAdvisor Rentals' unique collection of rental homes around the world.

Travelers' Choice award winners are based on traveler reviews and opinions, as well as customer service provided during the booking process. The awards recognize travelers' favorite properties in three categories: high-end, mid-range and affordable.

This gleaming modern apartment in the heart of Manchester won the affordable category, which features homes starting from under $50 per person per night. The mid-range category winner, a design-led Paris apartment walking distance to the Eiffel tower, was described by one guest as "...welcoming, spacious, colorful, beautifully equipped, AND in a fabulously convenient location". Villa La Ruga, a beautiful home perched on the edge of Lake Como, took the top spot in the high-end category.
