TriMed Technologies Releases e-Medsys EHR for Students in a Renewed Business Alliance with Cengage Learning

TriMed partners with Cengage Learning to enhance students' educational experience by offering access to e-Medsys®, their ONC-ATCB certified EHR.

TriMed and Cengage Learning's collaboration began in 2010 with the two-pronged goal of offering students quality educational materials in conjunction with access to certified EHR software.

Since the beginning, TriMed and Cengage Learning committed to provide a rich learning environment for students utilizing real-world software. This commitment is demonstrated through the recent release of the e-Medsys® Education Edition software, version 2.0. Though tailored to be an educational tool, the new edition mirrors the e-Medsys EHR version 7.1, the most current release of the EHR.

In April, Cengage Learning will release a second edition of their EHR textbook which walks students through the use of both sides of a medical office: from practice administration to electronic charting. The new edition features relevant EHR exercises and case studies which are designed for students to solve in the e-Medsys environment.
